Emotional Eaters: I AM ONE!

Hello guys,

I just wanted to talk about another reason why teas and other beverages are such wonderful tools in weight loss.

I am and always have been an emotional eater. The moment I feel stressed, overworked, ignored, lonely, sad I will find myself in the kitchen. And one of the things that I have found hard is actually leaving the kitchen without anything, so I came up with a solution!

When I find myself in the kitchen at a time other then meal time (yes guys, I time my meals and eat accordingly!) I will leave with an approved beverage. Water, lemon water, unsweetened iced tea, unsweetened hot tea. It is almost fool proof.

I think this works so well for me because I think when I am upset I want to do something with my mouth. Drinking an approved, zero calorie beverage is a great way to fix that without throwing the whole day out the window due to a binge-fest.

What do you guys do to suppress your “hunger” (phantom hunger?)
